Review Architectural designs in the following stages related to fire & life safety matters and provide professional advise related to fire & life safety matters in the following stages in accordance with NFPA-101 - Life Safety Code, NFPA-5000 - Building Construction and Safety code and National & International Building Codes applicable:
  Conceptual design stage,
  Schematic design stage,
  Preliminary engineering stage,
  Detailed engineering stage.
 
Preparation of Fire & Life Safety strategy reports for projects in design & execution stages in accordance with NFPA-101 - Life Safety Code, NFPA-5000 - Building Construction and Safety code and National & International Building Codes applicable.
Preparation of occupant load calculation based on the NFPA-101, Life Safety Code.
 
Study & prepare calculations for capacity of means of escape and travel distances and ensure that the proposed arrangements complies the requirements of NFPA-101, Life Safety Code.
 
Study & prepare the calculations for staircase and corridor width based on the occupant load and ensure that the proposed width complies with the requirements of NFPA-101, Life Safety Code.
 
Provide the recommendations of building & structures fire resistance ratings in accordance with NFPA-101 - Life Safety Code, NFPA-5000 - Building Construction and Safety code and National & International Building Codes applicable.
Preparation passive fire safety plans and fire compartment design in accordance with NFPA-101 & NFPA-5000 and local Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements.
Preparation of Emergency evacuation plans in accordance with NFPA-101 and local Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements.
Study & Review Fire / Smoke compartmentation and smoke managements system design drawings.
Review and ensure the provisions of fire department accessibility as per NFPA-5000 and local fire department requirements.
 
 
Code Consulting services by Analysing the applicable building / facility, life safety and fire protection codes and standards to provide guidance for the design of fire protection systems which will meet these prescriptive requirements. The analysis will also identify where performance-based alternative approaches may be used to meet the intent of the code and satisfy the project objectives.

Preparation of computerised software based Hydraulic calculations to ensure correct pipe sizes, outflow openings, fire water supply flow and pressure are determined adequately in accordance with applicable codes & standards.
Preparation of layout and schematic diagrams for fire detection & alarm and fire fighting systems.
Preparation of design specifications including equipment and material specifications, installation specifications, scope and extent of work.
Preparation of tender Bill of materials and budgetary cost estimate.
Validation and certification of fire protection system designs prepared by the architects / consultants in accordance with the NFPA codes and other local codes and standards.
 
Third Party Plan and Installation Reviews by reviewing of fire protection system designs and/or the actual installation process to verify compliance with the fire protection master plan, manufacturers’ design/installation guidelines and applicable codes and standards.
 
Coordination of Disciplines – Monitoring of work performed by other disciplines to determine if the master fire protection plan has been achieved and all systems are integrated and operable according to their design.
 
Construction Management – Administering contracts, furnishing on-site coordination of trades and providing project, cost, time and quality management on behalf of the facility’s owner, property manager or construction supervisor. The objective is to make sure fire protection systems are installed as designed, on-time and within the project budget.
Assist the Architects / designers at customers’ premises for technical clarifications as & when required.
